A National Register nomination for New York City’s oldest street, with a period of significance starting with Dutch settlement in 1626 and an end date defined by the emergent punk era at CBGB, 1975. Services included primary and secondary research for more than 250 buildings and sites along the Bowery, and a cultural history of four centuries of New York City development.
